Matrix

At Montpellier Primary School, our behaviour matrix has been co-constructed by both teachers and students to clearly define the expected behaviours across our school. It outlines what appropriate behaviour looks like in key areas, including:

• Always (general expectations at all times)

• Inside (classrooms and indoor spaces)

• Outside (playgrounds and outdoor areas)

• Transition (moving safely and respectfully around the school)

The matrix is closely aligned with our four core values Aspire, Empathy, Respect, and Responsibility and is displayed in every classroom.

Staff and students regularly refer to the matrix to support consistent behaviour expectations and reinforce positive actions across all areas of the school.
