School vision
Digital technologies are fundamental to create innovative digital citizens. We aspire to create real world engagement through personalised and collaborative learning opportunities, integrating this across the curriculum. We will achieve this through inspiring and empowering students with the knowledge, skills and dispositions for lifelong learning.
School context and sustainability
After conducting a whole school survey in 2017, it was decided that we would implement a ‘Bring your own device’ (BYOD) program, in the form of iPads, in year levels 3 and 4. The program commenced in 2018 across years 3 and 4 and since 2020 is available to all students from 3-6.
Staff and students are supported to transform learning using digital technologies by regularly accessing the support of Apple Learning Specialists, the Apple Teacher Program and other external and internal professional learning opportunities.
The BYOD and digital technology program is lead by the Digital Technology School Improvement Team who are tasked with leading the school towards our shared vision.
