2026 Enrolment Form

Eligibility to Enrol in a Victorian Government School

To be eligible to enrol in a Victorian government school, your child must be at least five years of age by the 30th of April in the year they commence their schooling. Only Australian citizens and international students with specific visa sub classes are eligible for Government funded positions.

What to include when returning your child's enrolment form:

Please complete your enrolment form and email to: montpellier.ps@education.vic.gov.au. We will require a scanned copy of:

• Your child’s original Birth Certificate or Passport
• Completed Immunisation Certificate (completed up to 4 years of age)
• Confirmation of Address

Department of Education Foundation Information Pack

Will be released by Department of Education by Thursday April 2nd

2026-27 Statewide Foundation Enrolment Timeline - Key 2026-27 Enrolment Dates

• Term 2, 2026 (From April 20): Foundation enrolment applications open.
• July 31, 2026: Applications are due to schools.
• August 3–14, 2026: Schools notify parents of the outcome.
• August 28, 2026: Deadline for parents to accept offers.
• Term 4, 2026: Orientation/transition sessions for children.
• January 28, 2027: First day of school.
