Prep Transition
At Montpellier Primary School, we understand that even though the first days of Prep are exciting, it can also be quite a nervous time for students.
To help students become more familiar with their new school environment we offer a Transition Program that begins the previous year to your child starting.
The Transition Program commences in November with the kinder kids and their parents visiting the school to experience school life. The school offers 1 morning, 2 afternoons and 1 evening where students come along to school and take part in activities. These sessions include PMP (Perceptual Motor Program), classroom activities, Art and Library. At the final session, the students are presented with their own personal prep pack of activities for holiday fun.
Please contact the office for a Prep Information Pack or follow the Link to Enrolment

Year 7 Transition
The transition from Primary School to High School can be both exciting and a little daunting. At Montpellier Primary School, we believe it is essential to make the changeover as smooth and continuous as possible. It is important that the students feel confident and educated about the move to their new school.
To support students in the transition process and to help them become familiar with their new school environment, we offer a Transition Program that is informative and consists of a number of experiences that assist both the students and their parents.
Ongoing information and support begins in Term 2 which includes: liaising with High School transition co-ordinators; Visits to the Primary students from former students, staff and integration students; Orientation days, so the students are given the opportunity to become familiar with the high school they will be attending; Providing continuous, up to date information about the various schools.
