Philosophy & Aim

The Montpellier Primary School Out of School Hours Care philosophy is:

• to provide an affordable, caring and quality program for families with primary school aged children.
• to provide school age children with many opportunities to engage in experiences that are enriching, allow for expression and independence, and enforce the importance of play.
• to promote the outcomes of play for children being; discovering the world in which they live, dealing with themselves and others, developing physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language skills and abilities and to accept ownership of the play that they engage in within our service.

Aim

The Montpellier OSHC Program aims to provide for the school community:

• an inclusive environment that promotes safe and secure care, sound physical health and social, emotional and cognitive development.
• ensuring the dignity and the rights of the child are maintained at all times.
• at hours that enable parents/guardians to engage in full-time or part-time employment or training.
